Discover Engineering Online is a web site that lets students investigate a host of engineering achievements. Aimed at inspiring interest in engineering among America's youth, the site is a vast resource that will tantalize its users to take a serious look at engineering. www.discoverengineering.org

SECME Students join clubs at their respective schools to learn and test engineering principles. They attend special Saturday Design Seminars to hear from practicing engineers about building their bridges, egg drop containers, mousetrap cars, and water bottlerockets for the District SECME Olympiad.

SECME students also tour engineering facilities throughout the year. Schools participate in other activities such as: Scholarship Workshops, Personal Portfolio Workshops, and Shadow an Engineer Day , in which students get to spend a day with an engineer to see exactly how engineers operate in the real world of work.
