Dade County Science Teachers Association (DCSTA)
    Dade County Science Teachers' Association (DCSTA) President Eric Hueck announces the following updates with the details described on the attached pdf. documents:
      1.) Master Plan Points (MPP) are available as a participant of the annual Mathematics and Science Mini-Conference on December 1st. There are deadlines to register for the MPP and to reserve lunch. Registration di$count for MINT teachers. See attached.
      2.) The innovative Officer Snook program is co-hosting a student competition. Students will have an opportunity to create slogans that could become aerial banners over the Beaches of Miami. Awards! Application and colorful flyer to post in your classroom. See attached.
      3.) Free Annenberg Media video ONLINE courses to achieve 28 MPP. See attached.
      4.) Summer Tallahasseesque opportunities for PD with stipend at the National High Magnetic Field Lab or the FSU Coastal Marine Lab. See attached.
      5.) Is gravity a "faux force?" [Like you "feel" when the car accelerates or you make a sharp turn.] Sorry, this attachment experienced inertia and is unavailable.
